What is worldreportage?
At the moment worldreportage is a portfolio of work from me that I’ve never had the chance to publish digitally until now. It’s also the fulfillment of promises I’ve made to those who’ve kindly given of their time along the way by sharing a part of their world in the hope that by doing so, good would come of it.
I’m not a practicing professional Photographer freelancing for my livelihood but I have worked at the intersection of Creativity and Technology for the past 25 years, being a part of Digital businesses and working across Media organisations focussed on Digital transformation, but always practicing my Photography along the way.
Though it’s been an aspiration of mine for years to bring together a collective of Documentary Photographers and Photojournalists, for the moment I’m just working on getting images online. Since I find myself with a bit of time on my hands, I’m trying to be productive by standing up a site that starts to bring worldreportage to life.
If worldreportage evolves beyond today then it’s my hope that it continues to be a place for stories that help make the world a better place through an understanding of our common humanity.
